Events of Sleeping Dogs[]
Smuggler Hong was the supplier of Popstar. Wei Shen was ordered to tail Popstar by Inspector Jane Teng of the Hong Kong Police Department. Popstar went to meet Hong by the docks.
Hong and Popstar got into an argument over the price of the shipment which ended with Popstar shooting Hong, killing him. Unfortunately for Popstar, Wei took a picture of him in the act of killing Hong and had Popstar incarcerated.
