Events of Sleeping Dogs
Sonny Wo managed to get him to come to Hong Kong to produce Vivienne Lu's record. His real intentions on the visit were actually to set up a supply of drugs to his friends back in L.A. After meeting Sonny he immediately formed a negative opinion of him. However he was later introduced to Wei Shen who showed him around town and took him to K-Bar. He decided to reveal his real intentions in Hong Kong to Wei who accepted his offer to supply drugs to King's associates.
- King was voiced by Pharrell Williams back when the game was called 'True Crime: Hong Kong'. It is believed that when Square Enix picked up the rights for TC: HK, they had to remove Pharrell from the game, as well as his work on the game's soundtrack.
- In the the mission Important Visitor, after you bring the ladies to the King at the K-Bar, he says "Yo, Wei. Dont Think I'll forget that man. C'mon, my people will like you. You got the right feel." This insists that he might return back to the series later on.
- At the end of the mission Important Visitor , King says "It's real cool to meet you. We'll see you around" in which Wei responds "Yeah, for sure. Hopefully the first night of many." The very last thing that King says to Wei before he proceeds into the building for his last apperance is "Well then, looks like this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship." Many fans suggest that this is Square Enix's way of saying he will undoubtingly have a strong role in the unofficially announced Sleeping Dogs 2.
- While confronting the thugs outside of the K-Bar, King also appears to have his own Fighting Style.
