Jiu Mei is a character in Sleeping Dogs. She is the love interest of Jackie Ma.
When Jackie, along with Wei Shen, visit Jiu, she tells Jackie that her parents don't want to be seen around him. Just then, Jackie and Wei are confronted by some thugs. When Jiu threatens to call the police, the head thug insults her. In her defence, Jackie gets into a fight with the thug, but he quickly throws Jackie over the counter. Jiu tries to stop the two fighting. When Wei defeated all of the thugs, Jackie asked Jiu if the two of them were cool, but scoffed as they left.
Despite what Jiu Mei's parents thought about Jackie, she eventually accepted him into her life and even started dating him. Her influence led to Jackie thinking about living a more honest life as he even decided on going into business with her. It's unknown what became of Jiu Mei after Jackie's murder.
