Square Enix has revealed a list of the actors providing their voices to Sleeping Dogs. According to Square Enix, "a line-up of both Hollywood and Hong Kong cinema stars were enlisted to help the game capture the tone of Hong Kong cinema."
The most recognizable actors on the cast are Lucy Liu, Emma Stone, Yunjin Kim of Lost fame and Tom Wilkinson from Batman Begins. They're joined by Will Yun Lee (Die Another Day, Total Recall) as undercover officer Wei Shen as well as Edison Chen (The Dark Knight, Infernal Affairs) and other notable actors including Winston Chu, Robin Shou, Terence Yin, James Hong, Tzi-Ma and Kelly Hu.
Stephen van der Mescht, executive producer at United Front Games, commented that the game has more than two hours of dialogue and is "inspired by some of Hong Kong's finest films." He added that "As huge fans of the genre we knew exactly who we wanted; we knew who could bring the script to life. The end result is fantastic."
